Annual Conference of Trialog
The conference „ Public Sphere and Quality of Life in Emerging Cities“
aims to re-evaluate the role of the public urban sphere in the context
of international urbanisation. Researchers, practitioners and develop-
ment experts will present experiences from Istanbul, Seoul, Cairo,
Cape Town and Frankfurt and discuss how the civic urban sphere can
become a key ingredient of a more sustainable and equitable urban
development.
Participation is free and the public is cordially invited to participate.

I chose the Master of Urban Agglomeration because I am interested in the course and also the professors. I searched for a lot of info about the course before I decided to study this master course. The most interesting part for me is the project work and the interdisciplinary project. I think this is what I am looking for: doing projects as if I were a real city planner; collecting data about a specific area, analyzing it, proposing a plan and then presenting it in front of the "stakeholders". The exchange semester is also interesting.
