The Faculty Council forms an examination committee for the organisation of examinations and activities that fall within the realm of the Examinations Regulations. The examinations committee ensures that the examinations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation and legal regulations. In particular, the examinations committee is responsible for the following tasks:
- Provide input and motivation for the reformation of academic regulations / programme curricula and Examinations

- Offer commentary and, if necessary, remedial action in case of contradictions that are directed toward the
examination committee’s decisions
- Determine examinations schedules
- Schedule and announce examiners
- Give transfer credits for other examinations, courses or study programmes completed
- Provide recognition credits for the internship semester
Examinations committee meetings are not open to the public. Members of the examinations committee and their representatives are committed to confidentiality. Für die Organisation der Prüfungen sowie die durch die Prüfungsordnungen zugewiesenen Aufgaben bildet der Fachbereichsrat einen Prüfungsausschuss. Der Prüfungsausschuss achtet darauf, dass die Prüfungen im Einklang mit den einschlägigen Rechtsvorschriften durchgeführt werden. Insbesondere hat der Prüfungsausschuss folgende Aufgaben:
Der Prüfungsausschuss tagt nicht öffentlich. Die Mitglieder des Prüfungsausschusses und deren Stellvertreterinnen und Stellvertreter unterliegen der Amtsverschwiegenheit. Sofern sie nicht im öffentlichen Dienst stehen, sind sie durch die Vorsitzende oder den Vorsitzenden zur Verschwiegenheit zu verpflichten.
