Information Technology (M. Eng)

The intent of this accredited Master program (see certificate) is to qualify technical specialists as well as executive managers in the information technology industry. Career opportunities include research and development of technical systems and the managment of such projects.

With advanced courses in mathematics, information-, communication- and automation-technology  the students get specific skills in these areas, which serve as a base for further innovative approches.
By experiencing a variety of situations in laboratories, during specific project work and the master thesis the students will become acquainted with a methodical engineering approach. After finishing the program they will have advanced skills in the area of information technology which enable them to master complex and unprecitible problems with innovative solutions.

Specific courses like "International Project Management and Business Administration" the "Project Course" and the "Master Thesis" contain not only technical skills but also the training of soft skills, which enable the students in the design of processes, the mastering of change management and the creation of new stratecic approaches. They will be able to contribute for the enhancement of technical knowledge and get competence in leadership and mentoring teams.
