Program Structure for Incoming Students

The Department of Business and Law welcomes exchange students every semester. Our program provides a Wide
range of different courses in the Area of Business Administration and Business Law. 

International students have the following options:




1. Choose from over 700 Bachelor Courses taught in German

If students have a reasonable German language knowledge they can choose courses with at least 20 ECTS from a
program (see list of all Lectures e.g. Betriebswirtschaft - Standard is 30 ECTS per semester). Most of the offered
lectures are taught in German. The students can choose modules from our offered programs regardless of the
recommended semester. But the recommended semester provides an indication of the degree of difficulty and that 
you may better have an appropriate level of experience in this academic field.

and/or summer semester, the recommended semester and the contact hours per week.




2. Choose one of our International Bachelor - English Tracks

The Department of Business and Law offers also 5 undergraduate English taught tracks for international 
students. Each track provides 30 ECTS per semester (for details of the lectures see also the list below)

  • International Business Administration 
    (Winter and Summer)
  • International Finance for Students with a major or minor in the academic field of Finance or Banking
    (Winter and Summer)
  • International Business Information Systems for Management Information Systems Students
    (Summer)

Collect real intercultural experience! You will get in contact with domestic students because will visit the same lectures.   




3. Are you on a Master (Exchange)
 
Our program for graduate students "Strategic Information Management" (Master of Science) provides 30 ECTS 
in English taught lectures each winter semester. More english taught courses are available in the Master 
"Leadership". These Modules are designed for Students in Master programs of our Partner Universities.
