Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (B.A.)

The programme comprises seven full time semesters and leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. The Language of instruction is German.

The Business Administration programme is taught entirely in modules. In the first three semesters students learn the fundamentals and principles in disciplines relevant to business administration. In subsequent semesters, students select two out of seven core areas. In addition they chose four out of 16 electives.

The electives may be selected from the following:

  • ERP-SAP and Business Process Management

  • Business Organisation
  • Analysis of data bases
  • Entrepreneurship
  • International Management
  • Intercultural Communication
  • Business Ethics
  • Case Study
  • Business Languages I - IV

As part of the programme, students select one of the general studies modules, which are offered as interdisciplinary modules (studium generale). An internship is required as part of the curriculum and should be completed in the 6th semester. The programme concludes with a Bachelor thesis and an oral examination. In the oral examination, students defend the findings of their Bachelor thesis.
