In accordance with current labour market requirements the Fachhochschule is keen to offer a variety of courses and programs taught in English, thus giving students an advanced language proficiency. At the same time, international students on exchange who do not have adequate language skills to follow courses in German only are given an opportunity to decide for a stay at our university for a semester or an academic year.

Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Geomatics
Urban Agglomerations (MSc) is a program completely taught in English. There will be an option to spend the third semester abroad.
Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering
The Bioprocess Engineering (BEng) program includes an entire 4th semester being taught in English (30 credits). The related modules are Biotechnology (Chemical, Biological and Process Engineering, Enzyme Technology, Fundamentals of Biological Technology), Heat and Mass Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, Chemical Engineering, Process Automation.
The Computer Science (BSc) program offers English-taught courses in its 3rd and 4th semesters, including Software Engineering, Programming Languages, Operating Systems, Data Bank Systems, Computer Networks, Real Time Systems, Privacy.
The Business Information Systems (BBIS) program contains Enterprise Resource Planning, Data Warehouse, Electronic Commerce.
The following 2-year Master’s programs are taught completely in English: High Integrity Systems (MSc) and Information Technology (MEng).
Faculty of Business and Law
The International Finance (BSc) program includes a 4th semester in English with the following modules: Capital Markets, Computing and Quantitative Methods, Macroeconomics and International Economics, Financial Management Accounting, Introduction to Law of Financial Services, Presentation Techniques.
Faculty of Health and Social Work
The faculty is currently preparing a 10 credits module (Comparative Social Work) in the Social Work (BA) program, taught equally in French and English.
