The language learning courses in the General Foreign Language Programme ‘KWRG’ (Kompetenzzentrum Wirtschaft, Recht und Gesellschaft) are open to all interested students irrespective of their field of study. The structure of our range of courses also reflects the relationships between the University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt am Main and its foreign partner universities.

The language courses for specific degree programmes are specially designed for and integrated into degree programmes. As a rule, they are compulsory courses or modules and must be passed in order to graduate.

The Department of German Language and Communication at the University Language Center provides both home students and exchange students with a range of specially designed language courses. These courses facilitate the learning of language and communication skills needed for studies at university.

KWRG (Kompetenzzentrum Wirtschaft, Recht und Gesellschaft) offers the course specialisation ‘Europa-Studien’ (‘European Studies’) to all students of the university. European Studies are undertaken within the framework of your regular study programme and their specific study regulations and provides you with knowledge and skills relevant to European affairs.
